 Sardar Sahib was conferred the Shiromani Sahitkar Award in   2006 by the               

 Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandha Committee (SGPC) and Sri Akal Takht Sahib   

on the occasion of the 400th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev-Ji. President's Police Medal and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service were awarded in honour of his extraordinary Services in the line of duty. He also served in the FBI in USA as an expert on militancy. Lalpura-Ji is an intellectual, analytical, unquenchable reader unceasing writer and author, and  legendary for his astute policing and social policing. He established new parameters and the doctrine of strong and humane policing during the troubled times of Punjab. He is a settlor and patron of the Global Punjabi Association an organization expressive of Punjabiat and the aspirations of Punjabis worldwide, with ultra-elite members of all echelons and from every field. He is the center of  activity of  several progressive institutions.

Dr Shastri former MP (LS). He has been the Chairperson of The National Commission for Schedule Casts and Schedule Tribes and the Vice-chairman of the National SC/ST Front (BJP). He is the former Executive Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Dr Shastri is the author of a dozen of Books, each of  which are a masterpiece and a barometer of social biota health. Literary, artistic, and scientific accomplishments are unparalleled.

As  Secretary (Literature), Sanskar Bharati, he also contributed in different capacities as the University Representative (as a Journalist), Delhi Press; Sub-editor, Vandemataram (Weekly),  with articles related to the social and cultural fields. His  achievements in Social and Cultural Activities include being the Founder-President, of Sri Mahavidya Yogapitham an organisation for the study of Vedas and Puranas, `Das Yoga, Aagam-Nigam (Technique of puja-path), Ayurveda, Music (classical),

Associated with Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Vidyarthi Parishad, Mahavidya' and Assistant Secretary, Pradesh Goraksha and Samvardhan Samiti. His special interests  include promoting Indian Culture for world peace. In the area of sports  clubs and associations, he formed an Indian Traditional Games Organization - All India Niyudda Sports Association. Countries Visited France, Germany, Nepal, and U.S.S.R.

‘MUNNI DEVI SONKAR SOBER MOTHER AWARD’, by SOBER INDIA is in memory of his mother Smt. Munni Devi to commemorate her contribution to society, especially the Sonkar Samaj in reversing the social acceptability of alcohol.

Director General Quality Assurance BE (Electrical) from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, Specializations in Radio Engineering and post-graduation in Communication Engineering from MC EME, Secunderabad. He was a senior faculty at Defence Institute of Quality Assurance, Bengaluru.

In addition, Lieutenant General, R S Reen (Retd.) is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

He has a certificate in, Reliability Engineering, from IIT, Kharagpur and is a Qualified Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems & Integrated Management Systems from Bureau Veritas, Bengaluru. He has headed a Senior Quality Assurance establishment, Brigadier at Headquarters, Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) and was Controller (Missile System) in Secunderabad.

Lieutenant General, R S Reen (Retd.) headed the DQA (L) as Additional Director General (Electronics) at HQ DGQA, New Delhi before becoming DG, DGQA. As DG, he headed the Inter-Service Organisation functioning for the Department of Defence Production in the Ministry of Defence, Second party Quality Assurance of all defence stores and equipment, both imported as well as indigenous, for the Indian Army, Indian Navy (excluding Naval Armaments) and common user items for the Indian Air Force procured from private sector and public sector undertakings. Our Sober General Can Read Write and speak, English Hindi and Urdu, he speaks Kashmiri, Dogri and Punjabi.

             Aurobindo Mukerji

Better known as aurobindo, he was born into a highly educated and influential Bengali family from Prayagraj. As the mentor of SOBER INDIA, a Sober and 85 years young, never taken a day off from work over the last 80 years and not consumed any medicine over the previous 75 years.

Though, his father was Delhi’s second oldest pathologist and established two fully updated laboratories in Nai Sarak Chandani Chowk,  and the second one on Ansari Road, Daryaganj Delhi in 1930 and was a personal/family doctor to many Indian Royals, leading politicians, religious heads, and the top ranking Europeans.

A teetotaler and non-smoker, he stays in a 4th-floor apartment without a lift. Young Sober does his daily chores all by himself. Sugar level and blood pressure are always at the recommended levels. He is updated with the latest AI developments and avid about aero-space, and transcoding of computer programs and music. 

Our Sober Hero, aurobindo gets up at 4:45 AM, so, he is nicknamed AM by his associates and friends. He is still a keen learner, an avid reader, a motivator, and a resource person for several prestigious social justice institutions.

He  was employed with the General Motors Overseas Distributors Corporation (INDIA), Delhi in  1966 promoting cars from General Motors (USA), GM (Australia) HOLDEN , General Motors (Germany) OPEL.

With the Gandhi Peace Foundation and National Gandhi Museum and established the Gandhi Literature Centre, National Gandhi Museum.

Worked with Shri Kanti Mehta, Gandhian, a freedom fighter imprisoned during the 1942 Quit India Movement and represented India at the ILO for over 15 years in a single stretch.

Alongside Shri Kanti Mehta organised the NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE FOR RURAL WORKERS (NCCRW) as its National Secretary and organised the first of its kind Meeting of over 800 NGOs in Sewagram/ Wardha from where Indian National Social Action Forum (INSAF, currently banned by the present government) was launched.

Worked alongside Shri Kanti Mehta to establish the RURAL WORKERS TRUST one of the foremost contributors to the movement to strengthen the association of rural workers organisations. Worked with Shri Kanti Mehta till the time of his passing away in October 2008.   Spent a whole year in Development work in Uttarakhand following the flash floods in 2013-2014. A crusader for social Justice, a messiah for abandoned girls, a ground fighter for Gender Justice and the rights and rehabilitation of trafficked victims.

Mr. Sukhija was born into a middle-class family that migrated from Multan.Bborn in Bighana village, Jind, Haryana Sukhija is a walking encyclopedia, of the English language, has consumed oceans of vocabulary and craving for more. Impeccable Grammar is his strength.

He has a good command of Hindi, Multani, Punjabi, Haryanvi, and Sanskrit.   His French is of middle school level. He did his schooling from Bishop Cotton Shimla, and Post-Graduation in English from The University of Kurukshetra, Haryana. Did a Diploma in phonetics, from the University College of London, London. Writes and edits books and teaches English. His service to English runs across the continents, space, time clicking in the clocks, or dates of calendars. He was an active member of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to the English Language (SPCEL) founded in 1983, with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles as patrons. SPCEL aimed to promote proper English usage, combat linguistic errors, and preserve the integrity of the language.

However, as globalisation and linguistic evolution continued, society faced challenges. In 2004 the members decided to disband SPCEL citing: 1. Increasing linguistic diversity and cultural exchange. 2. The futility of resisting language evolution. 3. Difficulty in defining "correct" English.

Currently Mr. Sukhija is reviving the society. He is a responsible taker, a twice-in-a-year type.
